Congregational Events

1. Prayer Meetings are held on the second Friday of the month, 7:30pm-8:30pm in person at the church. Mark your calendars and join us 6/13 for our next prayer meeting.

2. Life Groups. The next women's life group will meet Wednesday (5/25) from 7-9 pm. The next men's life group will meet Thursday (5/15) at 7 pm.

3. EM Retreat. Please mark your calendars for 8/29-8/31 and join us for the EM Retreat. Costs will be the same as last year: Family-$200, Individuals-$100, Commuters-$50, and YG-$100. Come join us for a time to get away and enjoy some good worship and fellowship. We will send out a registration link in the next week or so. 

4. Sam Kang Special Mission Offering. For the month of May, we would like to collect a special offering for our brother Sam Kang. Please mark in the memo section of your check or zelle that you would like to give as an offering for Sam. We will combine what we receive along with some left over money from our missions budget from before. Please keep in mind that this should not be in place of your normal church offering. The closing date for the special offering will be May 25. 

Youth Group (YG)

1. Meets weekly on Friday nights at 7:30pm unless noted otherwise. Please see Pastor Stephen Jon for any questions or concerns.

2. Roots Retreat will be held 7/28-31, registration for students has now begun. You can sign up through the roots website, rootsretreat.org. 

Education Department

1. The PreK/K is needing some additional volunteers.  If you would like to volunteer, please see Teacher Esther.

2. The Elementary department is collecting toilet paper and kitchen towel rolls as well as small and medium size boxes. Please collect and drop them off in the Elementary Room.

3. VBS will be held 6/18-6/20. If you have not already done so, please sign your children up for VBS.

Prayer Requests

1. Please continue to pray as we have begun our search for a new Youth Pastor/Intern.

2. Please pray for Chris Lee as he is recovering at home; pray for a quick and full recovery for Chris, pray that God would strengthen and comfort his family, and that God would give the doctors wisdom as they provide Chris care.
